The Sydney SHow: Audience Interviews
Conclusion
We can see from the audience interviews that even though most people like horror, everyone has a different style that they prefer. Everyone also finds a different style of character, murder weapon or setting scary. An example of this is our first guest in our interview found that a forest setting would be scarier to him than any other setting. He also found that Psychological horror films are more appealing to him than any other genre. Whereas our second guest likes the suspense that zombie themed films give out, and he found these films scariest when in a graveyard or church. This shows that different horror genres play on different people's fears and emotions.
We therefore think it would be a good idea to target something prevelant in many people's lives or a current event. Teenage gambling has been a universal issue worldwide in recent news. This will give our trailer a realistic twist as what makes horror scarier is the scenarios being plausible in real life.
