Notes on Lighting
Lighting Characters
When looking at a character in a film, it is easy to tell whether they are good or bad due to the lighting that covers their face or body. Lighting can also be used to allude to a character having a secret or some sort of mystery surrounding them.
All these antagonists have dark shadows cast across their face or are completely enveloped in shadows. This makes them come across as very mysteries so members of the audience could mistake everyday objects for them if it is dark enough, keeping the film and its characters on their minds.
